360: What's Scrapbooking

I am generally going to make something on Technique Friday and then 'show off' a scrapbooking page that uses the technique/creation. I have been on about trying to get pages finished and this is just the motivation I need to get a 2012 album finished!  I have used the handmade rosettes on this layout on two of the rosettes.  I was lucky enough to have a go at the new Creative Memories cutting system when a good friend came over to visit. I journal on all my pages and this is often hidden. In this case there is a tag that slides in behind the photo.

Today I am going to show you how to make a grogeous litttle punched border rosette!! These are so cool and look great on any project.

362: What's on the Web

There are so many talented people around the world!! I just love browsing for new ideas and inspiration. I found these adorable little pyramid boxes created by Kate Pullen. There is a link to instructions and a downloadable template to create the boxes which can be found HERE but I have also included the pics below. They would make great party favours, or after dinner treats boxes at a dinner party!

364: Paper Flowers

I have noticed that there are many fabulous paper flower die cuts on the market these days but what happens if you dont have a big shot (?? why havent you bought one yet!! LOL I can help you with that!!) Yes I know that they are a big investment (You would use it ALOT trust me) but you can achieve the paper flowers very easily without nothing more than a pencil, pair of scissors, toothpicks, hot glue gun, pattern paper and a lot of patience LOL! I have been trialing it out myself and have made all these little beauties...by hand!!!.... I even impressed myself!!!

365: Waterfall Cards

When I first saw these I thought they were terribly difficult to make so I took on the challenge and with a few minor mishaps managed to create a working model! I used Meloin Mambo Cardstock, real red ink and the new You are Loved stamp set from the Summer Mini. The pattern papers were from the "stash" :) Just doing up some instructions to share.

New Years Resolution!

I dont normally make a resolution I usually have a statement for the year like 2008 the year that was great... 2010 get hiking again... etc I havent thought of one yet for this year however I am going to attempt to do something a little crazier I am going to blog everyday!!! OMG WHAT!!! Listen I know I have the attention span of a squirrel drinking coffee (seen over the hedge?)but I am going to try it out... mind you if it fails dismally I've already told you so! LOL.

SALEABRATION! yep this little baby is getting closer and closer and I have matched up some pattern papers (Everyday Enchantment series) with the You are loved stamp set in the summer mini. I would like to do up a little prestamped , die cut kit for this one which you can put together yourself. The kit would come with enough supplies to make 8 little cards as pictured and cost around $6 with postage. I wont make them up just yet I am just gauging interest so email me if you are interested :)

Roller Card

I remember doing a workshop many years ago making these and I had so much fun putting another one together. I call these roller cards but I am sure they have other names as well lol!
